Mustache Tribute Route at the Tally Rock Gym

Today at the gym, I discovered a delightful sight: the Dan Cardenas Tribute Route. One of the rock gym employees dedicated the fun route to our dear snow-making, mountain climbing friend who left us behind in Tallahassee to pursue a life of carefree adventure.

Some of you may remember Dan from my stories of our epic road trip over summer. He’s the nutcase that convinced everyone to summit the snow-drenched Grand Teton in Wyoming. This kid defines the climber lifestyle. Right now, he’s employed by the Grand Teton National Park near Jackson Hole. His job description? Making snow for ski resorts and snowball fights – seriously.

Dan, the rock gym misses you! Come visit the sunshine state soon. As the final move of the route proclaims, “long live the ‘stache!”
